About the Yezidis and Melek Taus
Do the Yezidis worship Satan – the way we understand him? They themselves would probably answer no. Even so there are fascinating similarities between Melek Taus and our Judeo-Christian-Islamic notion of Satan. Because of this the Yezidis have historically faced a lot of resistance from these religions.
